With so many people striving for enlightenment I thought I'd comment.
I say comment because the journey is a personal experience and it is not my desire to interfere with anyone's chosen path. Those of you looking for answers have probably noticed that answers are many and in many different formats. I will say that, in my experience, all paths lead to enlightenment (you can't help it, you're already an "enlightened" being, you're just temporarily focussed on the human experience in an unenlightened way).
There is truly only one Source, God, whatever you want to call it. Wanting to understand fundamental human questions is basic to all of us. There are easy and hard ways to get "enlightened" during our human experience. It's your path, your choice.
Enlightenment is a state of being. Right now you are in a state of being. You ARE. You were in a state of being at 5, at 15, and on and on. You were in a state of being this morning and will be this evening. Some people just are who they are. Some question their state of being and say there must be more to life, whatever that might be for you.
So what is "enlightenment"? Think about it. When you become "enlightened" about something you gain knowledge and understanding.... a
nd understanding.
